Golf Outing

The 2026 BigFore Summer trip will take place at Rocky Gap Resort in Flintstone, MD on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25.  This year’s overnight trip package includes 2 rounds of golf (Friday & Saturday), prizes, and accommodations (see below).  For this trip, golf signups will be made through the BigFore Golf Association using the “signups@bigfore.org” alias. Hotel reservations will be made directly to the resort by the golfers. When signing up for golf, please specify your tee time preferences.

Accommodations

Rocky Gap Resort

We have a block of rooms available on a first come, first serve basis.  Any rooms not reserved by June 22nd will be released from our block and made available to the public. Reservations are made per golfer through Resort Reservations using code “ZAH0726”. Please ask when you pay about the cancellation policy.

Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 11pm. Early check-in is subject to a $45 fee.

Additional hotels are available in the Cumberland area if you choose to play as a “Golf Only” participant.

Package Details Pricing

Stay Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday nights at the hotel (golfer pays hotel directly).  Lodging cost is based on the room, but you have to tell them how many golfers are staying in the room. All rooms in our block had 2 queens beds. Book your room as soon as possible since there is limited availability. Room prices do not include golf costs.

  • BigFore room block – Room Prices:
    • Thurs: ~$162 per night (2 queen beds)
    • Fri: ~$219 per night (2 queen beds)
    • Sat: ~$230 per night (2 queen beds)
      • Resort room rates include state and local taxes currently 14%, State Park Fee of $3.00 per night, and a $30.00 Resort Fee per night.

Golf Costs (golfer pays Big Fore Golf Association)

  • Cost for golf both days is $180 (includes prizes)

In addition, the package includes:

  • Cart for both days of golf
  • Range balls are included
  • Prizes (including Skins and CTPs)
  • Additional tips for housekeepers, cart attendants, and other service staff are at your discretion.
 

Signups/Deadlines

June 22: Outing signups due (signups after 6/22 will be based on availability)
July 5: Last day for golf cancellations
July 5: Any remaining balance for golf is due to Big Fore.
